Way to represent Gator Nation

Please read the below entry and comments from Alabama fans on Roll Tide Roll. I visited there often last week and most of the posters there are well-informed and passionate Tide Fans.

I was afraid from the title that the post was going to be negative, but was glad to see otherwise.  We represent the Gator Nation, so although we cannot control every jackass out there, I am glad to see the overall perception this weekend of Gator fans, was a positive one.

Go Gators.

Please be kind and use good grammar.

Win or lose

I usually spend the week happy or depressed depending on what result there was…but rarely do I ever gain more respect than I already had for a team after a game. I always liked Alabama, they gave my Seahawks Shaun Alexander, they aren’t jerks, they don’t get as much attention as the other SEC power houses, and their fans are classy.

That game was flat epic, noone from either team sucked, and the effort from both sides was awesome. I also gained a new level of respect for my own team.

Its great we will probably see them often in the next few years. It also sucks (Julio Jones). Thats the way I like it. : )

Yep.

Coffee looks like a potential Brandon Jacobs though. Dude’s a beast.

Good Thread

The Alabama fans I’ve met in Atlanta were some of the better SEC fans I’ve met. Very courteous, knowledgeable, and downright decent. Honestly I could say that for most of the fans in the league. The exemption being Georgia fans. Bama has a great team, an insane coach, and a pedigree that is worth noting. The game was one for the ages. I honestly wouldn’t have been too angry to lose to such a fine team. Pompoms not withstanding.

I think it says a lot for both teams.

I hate NIck Saban for what he did leaving the Dolphins, and I was very glad to see him get beat, especially by the Gators. But, I have nothing really against Alabama or their fans. Hopefully we can both stay atop the SEC for a while and face eash other in teh Championship each year.

Once a good rivalry. Hopefully it can come back.
