Message for Urban, Give Moody the Ball!

What happened to finding a primary ball carrier besides Tebow and Harvin?

Last week five different Gator running backs combined for 9 carries. A week ago it seemed like we had finally found a feature back as Emmanuel Moody helped sustain drives against Tennessee helping the Gators control the ball on offense and keeping Tebow from taking a pounding. A week later he gets 3 carries for 16 yards and is a nonexistent part of the offense. What Urban has done by compiling athlete after athlete is taken the rhythm away from this offense. A running game is about consistency and that will never develop when a guy averages less than 4 carries a game. I know Meyer wants to give everyone touches but for the Gators to be a dominant team in the SEC they need a consistent running game and someone to take some of the offensive load away of Tebow and Harvin. I love Harvin getting 23 touches in a game, but how long is he going to stay healthy carrying that kind of load against the rest of these SEC defenses. We brought Moody here with the thought that we finally found a feature back. Give him the rock 15-20 times a game and lets see what he can do.

Please be kind and use good grammar.

Or at least stop giving KESTAHN F'N MOORE the ball.

Remember when we were kids and we mixed sodas together and called them "suicides"? It was OK though, because Dr. Pepper was always there.

I agree with Marks

We need mroe Moody. Apparently though, that ankle is going to be an issue all year long.

I believe Moody was injured at one point

…hamstring cramps I believe. Either way, they need a more traditional between the tackles run game.

Agree

moody is quite the running back, but with him being injured i think PERCY HARVIN, JEFF DEMPS, and CHRIS RAINEY more than stepped up to the plate. We do need a strong runner to bust open the inside and tire out defensive lines. a healthy moody is that guy. but im not expecting any 1,000 yard rushers with the wide variety of speed we have. alot of people touching the ball. BUT its hard to argue with success.
