Hit City: The Major and Reggie F. Nelson

First, Major Wright destroys Oklahoma's Manny Johnson. IN HD!

From 2006, Reggie Nelson blowing up a FSU fullback.

Both Wright and Nelson hit their man square in the chest. Rather than aim for the head, they aim for the biggest target. Like a boxer pounding the body instead of swinging for the chin, both Wright and Nelson appreciate a well timed body blow. If The Major continues making plays like he did against Oklahoma, he will have highlight videos made for him just like Reggie F'ing Nelson.

Haha... I traded for him immediately in Madden.

He can still knock the ball out on almost any Hit Stick tackle.

For those children who claimed they’ve been a fan of their favorite team all their life, or even since they were about four or five years old: bullshit. There’s always that certain event or certain player that draws to the sport and draws you to a team. For me, Nomar Garciaparra was that reason. - Nick Coviello: I Try To See Rocco, But All I Think Is Nomar; 1/9/09

Not to sound bitter

While the hit on Johnson was great, I thought it looked like Major beat the ball to Manny and probably should have got a pass interference call.

Tell your boys to toughen up.

And not to be deliberate in injury attempts. A bad timed hit is much less worse than trying to rip a guy’s gimpy ankle off.
