The Gators are in the same spot they were in last season at this time; only two losses and unconvincing to observers. SEC play begins in a week, but today's game against NC State is a good test to see if these Gators are better than last year's version. The Wolfpack is 9-2, with losses to Davidson and Marquette. They have a frontcourt that can match UF's rotation as well. (Two 6-9 guys, Ben McCauley and Brandon Costner, are the leading scorers.)

If Florida wins today, we should be comfortable with the state of the team. If not, it might be a long SEC season.
