SEC East Champions!
I haven't been able to blog lately because the computers at work, but I haven't noticed much praise of our teams win. When we beat UGA, I didnt see any posts about the Gators clenching the east. This was the earliest the Gators have ever clinched the east before. And everyone is concerned about Brandon Spikes, and Urban Meyer's fine. So I want to take this time to let all Gator fans know, BE HAPPY! Lets not be Yankee fans and expect nothing less then a championship, it was sad to see Jorge Pasoda let out a sigh of relief when they won the WS.
This season has been riddled with Gator haters trying to bring us down, and honestly they are doing a damn good job. Lets not let them ruin possibly the greatest Gator season off all time. We have only been undefeated once, and we were murdered in the title game against Nebraska, so it goes unnoticed. When is the last time we had players like Spikes, Tebow, Haden, Dunlap, Hernadez, Wright, Black, Jenkins, Demps, Cooper, Rainey, Hill, Jones, Pounceys and all we can talk about is Lane Kiffin, Tebows concusion, Ark/UF bad calls, Spikes dirty plays, Meyers fine.
We are NUMBER 1 in AP POLL, THE COACHES POLL, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE BCS POLL! OUR REMAINING GAMES ARE A JOKE, and the SEC Champ game will be against either LSU who we beat already, or Bama who we beat last season and has lost a few key players from that team.
So instead of getting upset, or offended, or whatever, with these Gator haters lets just point out the FACTS, NUMBER ONE AND UNDEFEATED!
Just something I find funny...Click on the link when Tebows name is displayed and it will go to all the articles written about him, and Bloggers Joel from Tenn, and TKK from UGA have used his name almost as much as TSK blogger Year2, who is a Florida fan himself, and Cocknfire is in second behind our own alligator army blogger. Stop crying about Tebow fatigue if your going to continue talking about him!
Please be kind and use good grammar.

Yeah.
This is the price you pay when you’re #1, I guess. All in all, I’m extremely proud of our guys and I hope they get to enjoy themselves sooner rather than later…

Careful what you wish for squawky 86
Tim Tebow will be conscious and highly aware in Atlanta. The UF defense will also be quite cognizant of the feast laid out before them. With the blitz package now being employed by Charlie Strong and co. it will be difficult for the Crimson Tide to establish any kind of offensive rythym. Isn’t Alabama’s quarterback a first year starter? How do you suppose he is going to handle pressure like he has not seen? Sleep well squawky.

I don't like the blitz package
It didn’t seem to bother USC at all until late in the game. Spurrier was apparently ready for it and was burning us by getting the ball quickly into the empty middle voided by the blitzing LBs. We were able to overcome that late based on our superior athletic talent against USC….this won’t be the case against Bama though because they are just as athletic.
I like the blitz sometimes, but against teams with weaker QBs, you are better forcing them to make a mistake.

Its Steve Spurrier
does it really suprise you he could scheme up plays to out wit charlie strong…like you said though, they still didnt have the talent to match up. thank goodness.

Blitz package
The blitz can definitely be overdone and when that happens any decent offensive coach can take advantage of it. I simply watched too many Gator games over the past few years where it seemed the opposing qb had forty forevers to run around looking for a receiver. It is true that the UF secondary has done a tremendous job of pass coverage without the blitz, it is particularly satisfying to see the opposing qb buried for big losses. Without the threat of line stunts or blitzes a big, physical offensive line can buy enough time for even a mediocre passer to find someone to throw to. It’s like salt in the stew, a dash is enough.

We actually got just as much pressure
when we rushed 4 without a blitz. It was late and the OL was gassed, but still.

See you guys in Atlanta. Keep Spikes unsuspended and Tebow conscious for us.

You’ll get our best….but you can keep on praying that we’ll be crippled by having to play you without one of our best….just like last year.

No need to celebrate winning the East
It’s not that great of an accomplishment since no other team on our side is better than .500 in the league. We still have our eyes on the real prize….the troops march on. The biggest thin right now is to stay healthy.
Beat Carolina!

no need to celebrate
but lets be happy, its a big deal win the East, I dont care how crappy the other teams are this season.

Not a big deal this season
Typically, winning the East is reason to be excited. This season however, the second place team is UGA. They are 3-3 in the conference and have been outscored by nearly 3 TDs in conference play. All other teams in the east are below .500 in conference play.

As I said,
I am not jumping up and down celebrating, but we could easily have 2 losses in the conference. We only beat Tenn by 10 points, and Arky was a lucky escape. If we lost those 2 games Tenn would be 1st in the east. Considering Crompton has became spot on latley, we are lucky to have played them when we did. So be happy.

Although close in score
The Tennessee game was never in doubt in my mind. Their offense was a joke and Kiffin was content just running clock and keeping it close for the first of his moral victories. As has been the case this year, Urban was also content keeping it conservative, just enough to win.
The East is absolutely decrepit this season – although UT is getting better, I still think we beat them handily if we play them Saturday.

I've figured out what's wrong with the refs
just think did we have this problem last year? no we didn’t it all started when idiot kiffin came to the loserteers he’s probably still a pac-10 fan and he wants to ruin the SEC so he did something to cause our refs to go stupid
