How Should Gators Heckle Lane Kiffin?

Personally, I'd love to hear 90,000 chanting "LAY-NEEEEEEEEEE" like the sing-song chants done for former Flyers goalie Ron Hextall. But I'm open to suggestions. Drop yours in the comments and we'll bring them back for the Tennessee-Florida basketball game to test them out.

Hmm...

5-15?
This ain’t Hollywood?
Monte Knox [newborn son’s name]?
Your website {http://www.lanekiffin.com/} sucks?
You can’t sing?

For those children who claimed they’ve been a fan of their favorite team all their life, or even since they were about four or five years old: bullshit. There’s always that certain event or certain player that draws to the sport and draws you to a team. For me, Nomar Garciaparra was that reason. - Nick Coviello: I Try To See Rocco, But All I Think Is Nomar; 1/9/09

Let me be the first to say all of those were poor efforts on my part.

RAAAAAAIIIIII-DERRRRRRSSSSSSS

I think that pretty much sums it up…

"The dolphin is one of the fastest and smartest creatures of the sea. Dolphins can attack and kill a shark or whale. Sailors say bad luck will come to anyone who harms one of them." - Joe Robbie, Oct 8, 1965 upon announcing the name of the new AFL Miami football team.

TEN. FIVE. ONE.

…that being the bylaw Kiffykins violated – he clearly needs all the help he can get when it comes to remembering the rules, so it would only be courteous of the Florida faithful to chip in.

Or maybe a more broad "Read the rulebook!"

I think in the end...

…the only thing that UF fans will need to chant is “SCORE-BOARD!” Of course it might not have to wait until the end. This game will get ugly…fast.

As a BAMA fan, I have to say that the Gator nation would heckle gim best and show just how irrelevant Lame Kitten is by being completely silent….

I Agree.

I’ve always said this. Booing and heckling give the subject too much importance. I’m all for making noise to affect their ability to communicate or celebrating our success, but that’s it.

The rate he's going, will he be around?

Of course he will, but I have to think the administration and probably some boosters aren’t too happy with him so far. I’m not saying he’ll be let go right away, but he’s probably not just rubbing his opponents the wrong way. If the shoe was on the other foot and this was Meyer doing this, I would be none too happy and I think Foley would be telling him to shut it.

I agree that the best chant is no chant. Maybe the Gator faithful can sing “Rocky Top” (2nd on the SEC) just as Kiffin predicted?

I disagree that many UT fans and boosters are upset with Kiffin. To the contrary, the Vol friends I have are of the opinion that they love the guy’s energy in coming in with guns slinging. I don’t think that we would be upset if we were coming off a season as dismal at UT’s season last year….

I agree with the energy, I was just thinking in terms of what he’s actually saying. The program obviously needs a good kick to the you know what, but I’m not sure about the things he’s choosing to say.

I

love the fact that Lane is shooting his mouth off like this. I was affraid that, with Fulmer gone, we’d grow complacent towards UT. This way, even if they continue to suck on the field, we’ll still be able to hate them with the same intensity as before. Thanks Lane!

Very true

Same way with us since we’ve strung together a bunch of Ws against UT. More good news is that he will take some spotlight off our coaches, who were until now, by far the 2 most hated in the conference.
