Chandler Parsons Plays His Best Game. In Game 34.

The Gators defeated Jacksonville 84-62 in the first round of the Not Invited Tournament. In front of a rousing crowd of 4,350, the Gators dominated, shooting 63% in the first half and 56% in the game. One of the players who contributed to that was Chandler Parsons, who came off the bench and played 31 minutes. He had 17 points on only 9 shots, and added 14 rebounds, 12 on defense. It was Parsons' second double-double this season (Feb. 3 vs. South Carolina, 14/10). With his efficency and defensive output, you could make the case Parsons had his best game Wednesday night. Nick Calathes looks to have snapped out of his funk, scoring 19 points on 8-10 shooting with 6 assists and 6 rebounds.

Next, Florida gets Miami Friday night at 7pm in Gainesville.

Parsons

When he plays like this two or three times in a row against a quality opponent, then maybe the light bulb has come on. Let’s see what happens Friday.
