Good Job!

Stacey Nelson is now tied in the lead. We have overcome a 4% deficit since I posted this. Not sure if it is from people on this site, but let’s keep it up and vote every day.

Nelson gets my vote (again)

…as does any of the ladies on this year’s softball team. They are simply a wrecking machine that has chewed up almost every opponent with reckless abandon. Great things are ahead for this bunch.

She's falling back again....

…which makes sense after only hurling a no-hitter, right???

I’ve been trying to vote every day. I have no idea how she fell this far.

Brandon McArthur is second in the Baseball voting. If anyone deserves an award, is McArthur.

No argument there

McArthur deserves much more than just some Lowe’s award…..but I voted for him too.
He’s been through a lot and is one of those kids we Gators can truly be proud of.

The machine rolls on

11-1 one hitter against Longwood in game 1 today. Not only is it the Lady Gators 16th win in a row…but their 10th straight shutout….absolutely amazing!!

Umm:

11-1 = Shutout?

I thought softball was like baseball, but with chicks – or beer (but that comes later on in life).

Oops

Sorry ’bout the typo – the correct score in game 1 Saturday was 11-0 (10th straight shutout). That was followed by a 6-0 shutout in game 2 of the double-header for an 11th straight shutout. Alas, the shutout streak was broken yesterday in a 3-1 victory, but the win streak is alive at 18 in a row headed to the SEC tourney where we face Auburn in round 1.

What a great weekend with a softball sweep AND a baseball sweep of the Dawgs in Athens!
