Gators Lose Demar Dorsey; Jordan Hicks To Make Decision Friday

The same day the Orlando Sentinel writes up on DB Demar Dorsey wavering on his commitment to Florida, Dorsey has apparently dropped the Gators. FSU is seen as the front runner, but Tennessee and USC are still in the mix.

In other recruiting news, LB Jordan Hicks is likely to announce Friday between UF, Ohio State and Texas.

Oh well Florida was already so stacked at safety this isn't much of a loss.

I hope Hicks goes Florida but it sounds like Texas from what I’ve heard.

I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal.

I thought..

Florida pulled his scholarship. It was my understand that Meyer & Co. didn;t want to go along with the games Dorsey was playing. The whole I’m 90% committed, no 70% committed..the kid seemed to really enjoy the limelight that recruiting brings, and felt that Florida should have continued to woo him the way other schools (FSU, USC) were currently doing to try to get him to switch…truthfully, after what has happened with Kiffin, any kid who is seriously considering going to USC to play for him, is probably not someone we really want on campus anyway..good luck, DD and hopefully we’ll see you again.
