Longhorns Land Hicks and Jeffcoat UPDATE
Will he be a Gator?
via media.scout.com
Hicks is one of the top talents to come out of Ohio in the past several years. Using great lateral movement with the ability to change direction allows Hicks to make plays others only dream of. Has good size and strength and does a good job of shedding and making the tackle. A sideline-to-sideline player who can make plays all over the field. -- Midwest Analyst Dave Berk
On the Hoof: Hicks is a long, lean linebacker with excellent overall body structure and muscle tone. Should be able to play at 235 pounds and keep his exceptional downhill pursuit.
Needs Improvement: Has to improve shucking would-be-blockers at the point of attack, improving his ability to make plays in heavy traffic.
Most Impressive: May be the best pass-rushing linebacker in the country. Hicks is incredible at coming of the edge and chasing plays down from behind.
Conclusion: All fast, athletic linebackers get a chance to prove themselves on coverage teams first. He may also see time early on third-and-long plays as an extra rusher from the outside. Barry Every-Rivals

Next to Henderson Hicks is the player I want most. The Gators need a few LBs to go with those outstanding D-Line recruits and with Hicks and Christian Jones as the only LB's left in the mix Hicks would be a key addition.
Please be kind and use good grammar.
