Are the Game Cocks our New SEC Rival?
Remember the days of Volunteer running backs ruining our season like Jamal Lewis or Travis Stephens. 10 or so years later a lot has changed. Tennessee is pretty horrible and the bottom dweller USC has become SEC contenders. Has Marcus Lattimore continued the old tradition on a new team to run the ball down our throats.
This beast still has two more seasons left in his college career until he can enter the NFL. That's not good for anybody in the SEC, except for Spurrier and crew.
As far as the game goes, I am not too upset. I had my hopes high after seeing how great Reed looked in the offense but it was clear they never had any intentions of handing Reed the game. I have no idea why they gave Reed almost all the snaps last week against Vandy. If they knew Brantley was going to get all the playing time against USC, he needed that extra practice more then anybody. Reed should be the starter, Brantley can transfer to Southern Cal or some thing for all I care, next season we need a new coordinator and new QB. I would prefer Reed but if this Driskel kid is the answer, that's fine with me.
Any ways...we can still win out and beat our most hated rival and end the season with only 4 losses. Could be worse, much worse.
