If....

we win two SEC Tourney games then I believe were a lock and will pass the infamous Jimmy Dykes “eye test” for the selection committee a win Sunday and one SEC Tourney win and the Gators go dancing…the time to show heart is now. I though it had past but we have a slight chance. This team is on its last leg.

The Bubble is weak

I think the Gators get in, even if they lose to UK. I would recommend winning one game in the SEC tourney (and certainly winning out would seal it)…but I’m not sure it’s a requirement.

I completely agree that it would make all of you feel better about your chances…but I think UF gets in, considering how weak the bubble is this season.

Also, the committee is supposed to put emphasis on the “entire body of work”, which should help to overcome finishing the regular season on a 3 game skid. They are not supposed to factor the “last 12 games” as they used to.

Hopefully...

your right, however they still seem to over-emphasize those last few games… I think at least ONE SEC tourney game is necessary…as for your Commodores I believe last nights win locked the 3 Seed up, and if Florida wins one more and Miss State defeats UT this week and wins a game or two in the SEC tourney….We could see 5 SEC teams in the Tourney. Major turn around from last year…

Certainly

it’s much easier for me to feel good about Florida’s chances than it is for Gator fans. I think (and hope) I’m right. We’ll see. Beat UK and it’s certain.

They are not invincible.

I think the Gators are in

even if they lose to Kentucky, they will beat Alabama in the first round of the SEC tournament, and will have a rematch against MSU in the second round, the winner of which will cement a spot in the NCAA tournament. UF beat them before, I think they can beat them again.

Very good point.

But we gator boys just never know what team is going to show up in those florida unis, hopefully its not the team that played last night. If its the one that beat Tennessee or Michigan State, god help the SEC.

I sure hope so.

Most guru's already predicted the Gators would make it in with the Tenn win.

They were lacking one more big win and they got it. Nobody is or was expecting the Gators to beat Vandy or Kentucky, so that doesnt really affect them so much. The loss to UGA looks bad on the resume, but you dont really miss the tourney on one or two bad losses, its usually the collection of wins and a few top notch wins that get you in.

Who the hell put "NO" in the poll

When there is a option that says beating UK gets us in.

Do that many people think if the Gators beat UK they still wont make it in? Thats just dumb.

The UT win should do it.

But a good win in the SECT should help the selection committee forget the early season loss to South AL.

Florida is in this year.

Next year, I expect 5 teams from the SEC east to make it.

The downside about squeeking in

Our seed will suck and we will play someone alot more impressive then Xavier / Richmond / S. Alabama / UGA. We need to beat the Hell out of KY and win the SEC tournament!!!!!
