Hell yes, we're using William Nack's line about Secretariat to describe Jeff Demps. Today at the Florida Relays, he ran a 10.11 in the 100 meters. How fast is that?

Jeff Demps with the fastest time in the world so far this season and the fifth-fastest in school history in the 100m at 10.11.

Not all of the action is on the football practice field, you know. By the way, Trindon Holliday has the track record of 10.01 in last year's meet. Demps 10.11 came in qualifying, so maybe he has something left in the tank for a sub-10.00 final.
