The Gators will host regional and possible Super Regional games as they were selected as the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Softball Tournament. Florida (43-8) will be grouped with UCF (35-21), FIU (36-19) and Bethune-Cookman (32-22). The winner of the Gainesville Regional would play the winner of the Amherst, Mass. Regional, which includes No. 13 Arizona, Boston, Long Island and UMass. Regionals are double elimination and Super Regionals are best-of-three.
Florida did not play Bethune this year, defeated UCF 4-3 in extra innings on March 31, and lost to FIU 8-3 on April 20. The schedule of games has not been set yet.
