Frankie Hammond suspended for DUI

Stay connected for news and updates

Demonstrating nothing was learned by Carlos Dunlap's DUI, Frankie Hammond was arrested early Sunday for a DUI. Not only was he pulled over with two open bottles of whiskey (Bushmills, maybe?), but Hammond also committed the ultimate sin of Gainesville driving; speeding on campus.

Hammond has been suspended for his arrest in a season in which UF needs all hands on deck to rebuild the passing game. Hammond's arrest comes during summer session at UF, when athletes are supposed to be training and making up class credits. He appears to have forgotten about that and Urban Meyer's warning and command to stay out of trouble on the last day of spring practice.
