David Nelson looks like a lock for the Bills roster
I thought I would share this with the group. He has really impressed during the camps/OTA's and preseason. Right now I believe he is penciled in as the number 4 WR on the Bills. This just makes me think that it wasn't necessarily the WR's that were the problem in the passing game last season, but perhaps Tebow (and the coaching staff directing him) not getting beyond that 1st or 2nd read before running for it. Buffalo Rumblings had a good article on it at their website too if anyone is interested. Nelson has caught two TD passes so far in the preseason....not bad for a undrafted rookie free agent.
Please be kind and use good grammar.

Edwards is in make or break year
If he doesn’t do it this year, he’s toast and there will be new blood in the QB position. So not really a bad problem seeing as he will be a bit buried in the depth chart to really make waves this year.
Also Chad Jackson is getting his second (possibly last) shot with the bills, and so far looks like he will make the team too.

Yeah, I’ve always wondered about him facing the elite guys and how he would handle it. I guess we shall see. He didn’t do much in college against hacks and that doesn’t look too good.
The Once and Future King
he had a fine college career
1184, 14 TDs and then 1191, 13 TDs his final 2 seasons with the Gators. That’s nothing to sneeze at. Plus he recovered from being kicked off the team (remember the locker room jewel thief??) by returning as a walk-on and earning his scholly back. I wish him well.
Ummmm. David Nelson’s career stats at UF were…
46 catches, 630 yards and 7 touchdowns. And 1 punt return for 5 yards.
Like I said, he didn’t do much. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/stats?playerId=173455

Ahhh crap. My bad. Halfway through the conversation I completely forgot who in the heck we were talking about. My fault.
The Once and Future King
no doubt about Nelson
He was less than pedestrian at UF. If he becomes even a decent NFL player, we’ll be wondering how we didn’t use him more!
good for him
