Why you should oppose Dove World Outreach Cult
...because they are screwing up your gameday experience. From UF;
The University of Florida shares the concerns of student, faculty, staff and the people of Gainesville regarding the activities of a small church in Gainesville that is threatening to burn the Quran on the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
We are closely monitoring the situation and working hand-in-hand with local, state and federal law enforcement. There have been no specific threats against the University of Florida. Out of an abundance of caution, however, additional s ecurity precautions are being taken on campus, as well as in and around the stadium on game day.
In light of the heightened awareness of security on campus, employees and students have been asked to pay more attention to their surroundings and to report suspicious packages or people to police. University employees also have been asked to limit access to campus buildings on game days.
The University of Florida is proud of the diversity of the student body, who are from more than 100 different countries. There is a large population of Muslim students, faculty and staff on campus who are important members of the university family and the community. In response to the intolerant activities of the Dove World Outreach Center, several student, community and faith-based groups are planning educational programming that brings people of different faiths together to learn from each other. In addition, the university is hosting several forums for international students to provide support and awareness.
UF President Bernie Machen personally condemned the words and actions of Dove World when he said: "Purveyors of intolerance do all kinds of harm, including making people feel unwanted and demeaned. We can’t let that happen, not to our international students, not to our domestic Muslim students, and not to anyone in our community."
Updates will be provided on the university’s home web page as appropriate. Beginning Thursday, information will be available on the university hotline at 1-866-UF FACTS (1-866-833-2287)
Here's to peace on earth, religious tolerance, the Old Boys of Florida, and the Gainesville Fire Department dumping Lake Alice on this idiot as soon as he strikes a match.
Please be kind and use good grammar.

Forget the gameday experience
I’m going back for my first game as an alum this weekend, and I hope that we pound all the smug out of USF and their fans (my god, they’re as bad as Canes fans), but let’s be real- this is a much bigger issue than a football game.
That this is going on in our city truly makes me sick. Did you know this “pastor” also plans on bringing GUNS to this event? He says he’s had threats against his life and wants to be able to defend himself.
Gator Bait: The first, and still the best.
"Pastor"
That term couldn’t be used any more loosely… Wish the media would ignore this fool and leave only the 50 crazed cult groupies feed his shitty ego and agenda.
While this guy is a complete tool (damn site decorum) and as much as I hate to say it, he has as much of a right to do this as Tebow did to further his eyeblack… (Feel dirty even saying that)
That being said, wish I had the right (and clout) to tie him to a tackling sled and let Will Hill and co. make a highlight film…
