Gators survive double overtime at Georgia
To double overtime and to hell with Georgia. That was the story Tuesday night as the Gators blew a late lead in regulation, but manned up to defeat the Georgia Bulldogs 104-91 in double overtime.
Florida (16-4, 5-1) led by six points with 1:28 left in the second half, when UF missed free throws and the Bulldogs tied it with a buzzer-beating putback. In overtime, Georgia (14-5, 3-3) led by three when Erving Walker scored three of his 24 points with a shot made from Atlanta that stunned the Bulldogs. Walker's shot ultimately sank the Bulldogs as UF rolled in the final OT, outscoring Georgia 19-6.
Walker and Kenny Boynton each scored 24 to lead the Gators. Vernon Macklin had 23 and Chandler Parsons scored 18 points. Alex Tyus was the only starter in single digits with six points. Erik Murphy got the Energy Star Award with a very efficient seven points in four minutes on four shots. UF shot 46 percent from the field and 72 percent at the line.
Florida's next game is Saturday at 1pm at Mississippi State.

One of the nastiest dimes I’ve seen in a minute. That was like some Tyreke Evans shiot going down… Just amazing!

My doc told me to act like a robot for the next week. Great prognosis! Me and Johnny-5 will be one...
They should of easily won the game but of course they missed easy free throws yet again!
But it is nice to see our team is pretty clutch this year again. I guess it something to do with Donovan drilling them pretty hard in practice because it was obvious in the 2 OT.
