Former Fla. star Mo Collins mentors Gators All America recruit

The first time Mallard Creek football coach Mike Palmieri saw All-American D.J. Humphries, the offensive lineman was 6-foot-4, 230 pounds and convinced he was a tight end.

Palmieri took one look at Humphries trying to catch the ball and knew exactly where he should play for the Mavericks, a five-year-old program that will play its first regional final tonight at Greensboro Page (13-0).
