Chomping At Bits: Mike Rosario Not Emotionally Ready Vs. Syracuse
Chomping At Bits runs twice daily during the week and once daily on weekends, and comes stocked with the best Florida Gators links and news we can find. Got a link we should check out? Email us at AlligatorArmy@gmail.com, subject line CAB.
Mike Rosario struggling: "Gators coach Billy Donovan afterward said Rosario emotionally was not ready to play and 'didn’t seem himself,' hence the benching." Oh, that's good. (GatorZone)
Gators not getting commits from bigs: And no one seems too upset about it, because that's just recruiting. (Kevin Brockway, Hoops Scoop/Gainesville Sun)
Florida-Ohio State, by the numbers: Except for Florida's third down defense, neither team does anything exceptionally well. Both have good pass defenses. The Gator Bowl is going to be boring. (Rachel George, Swamp Things/Orlando Sentinel)
Reminiscing on Atlanta: Ah, SEC Championship Games gone by. (Sam McCorkle, Bourbon Meyer)
Stop tweeting recruits: I don't even care that it's probably an NCAA violation; there's virtually nothing more pointless than expecting your 140 characters to change the mind of an 18-year-old you've ever met. (ParadigmShift35, Throw The Flag)
As always: Talk about any and all of this and/or anything else you have to say in the comments. Need more Alligator Army in your life? Your rule works surprisingly well for other avenues of communication too!
That the statement ever needs to be made astounds me. Do these people hatch out of pods as adults, or were they raised by crass buffoons?

Wasn't these a MissSt commit who decommited to Miss (feel stupid now?) due to harsh tweets last year?
There are a lot of cowards who will talk crap over the internet, but face to face not so much.

I don't remember that story, but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if it were true.
I used to think it was the feeling of anonymity that led to such indiscretion, but now that people are doing the same under their real identities on Facebook and Twitter, I’ve come to suspect that people were always that rude, they just never had the ability to reach so large an audience with their vitriol before the advent of the internet.

Actually it seems it was C.J. Johnson, a linebacker
Let’s just say people are more rude (or more themselves maybe?)over the net when they know no one can get to them. It’s like road-rage. People will flip you off or yell something at you because the likelihood of that person getting our of the car and getting to you before you can speed away is slim.
I think some of the things said to recruits are just disgusting, but some of these recruits need to be more responsible with social media. Some do provoke these reactions.

That could probably be changed to...
…“if you want to tweet anything ever period…”
