FlaGators, I have a question.

Why do you have so much confidence in Jedd Fisch. Remember he has alot more to work with in Miami as far as the 2011 team and did nothing with it. And throwing money at an OC doesnt gaurantee a good hire. Muschamp already made 1 bad hire.

Couple of reasons. He knows the Miami area more-so than others (recruiting) and I think with what he did at Miami was decent considering they weren’t at full strength due to the sanctions.

Also he’s young (35, which Florida has always liked young coaches), a Florida graduate and assistant (so he knows what it’s like to see Florida win), has an NFL background (which Muschamp loves) …

I mean, he isn’t perfect at this point. But I’d like to see the Gators build a young staff (but still have some experience) and watch them grow together. Much like FSU had during the 20 years they won.
