What to Watch For
Florida has no true road wins on the season. Can the Gators get one against an undermanned Tennessee squad that has lost to Oakland and Austin Peay and struggled with East Tennessee State and UNC-Asheville?

I hear ya. Way too early. I mean, there is a reason I will never live outside of the Eastern Time Zone, and early games (sports wise) are one of the main reasons.

I feel the need to remind you guys...
that Buzz Peterson’s teams beat the Gators more than a couple of times, including 3 of 4 right before he got fired. It didn’t suddenly make you guys a bad team.
The big problem we’ve had thus far is Kenny Hall not showing up for games. When he’s on we can play with anyone, and when he’s off we literally have NOTHING inside and lose to Austin Peay.
Oh we’ll be alright. Just some early jitters. But yeah, I’ve seen that Kenny Hall kid get hot.

He made it to the Elite 8 last year and won the SEC...
and that was with a less talented team, although more experienced. I was thinking a return to the elite 8 before the season started. When they play well, final four seems reachable but after games like today…not so much.

Final Four teams dont always dominate the entire season.
No way our chances are that low. I dont think todays game represents what the rest of the season will be like, by far.

The glaring weaknesses of this team are beginning to kill them.

They tested Duke earlier this season
but they’re last in the SEC in scoring defense. Gators are just flat today. Lazy on defense.
The offense is just broken today.
Directionless, pointless crap. They pass it around aimlessly for a bit, and then either try some impossible drive or jack up a contested three from NBA land. Just terrible.

Meh. I can’t get into that, tho. :( Although, watching the relay team with Demps and them is a sight to see.
