Recruiting: Visesio Salt Decommits From Florida, Commits To Utah
I suppose it's actually a good thing that we didn't really have time to get accustomed to Visesio Salt: the massive defensive tackle from San Antonio (California) Community College has decommitted from Florida and committed to Utah just three weeks after originally committing to play for Will Muschamp.
Salt, who is 6'3" and weighs 340 pounds, was seen as a much-needed infusion of bulk and strength for the point of attack in Muschamp and Dan Quinn's 3-4 scheme, and as a welcome addition to a defensive line rotation that has had more hype than production.
The decommitment leaves Florida with a big hole up front, but it's one that could be filled in the month or so between now and National Signing Day in February. It's also the first bit of news of what should be a night full of it, at least in terms of Florida's recruiting for both football and basketball.

Still don't understand the whole committing...
…then decommitting. It’s not like this kid is a 17 year old in high school. He’s been committed for what…a month?

Just don’t know what would change in that short of time. These kids treat college commitments like I treated commitment in college!

I’m betting that he really likes snow.
Listen to them, the children of the night. What sweet music they make.
Either that or he just really likes The Great Salt Lake.
Ziiiiiiiiiiiiiing. Yeah, it’s time for bed. That’s going to look horrible in the morning.

Oh and … Haha. Yeah, it’s comments like that, that (while funny) always seem to make me reflect on certain things.
