Florida coach Will Muschamp announced Monday that junior receiver and third-leading rusher Solomon Patton is probably done for the year after breaking his arm against Georgia. He suffered the injury on a very questionable tackle by Shawn Williams near the sideline, which involved Williams performing a diving clothesline that was very near to the horse collar variety. No flag was thrown on the play, which made it feel rare among all Georgia-Florida plays.

Patton has primarily been used as a running threat by Brent Pease, posting 14 carries for 140 yards this year –including his lone carry on Saturday – and only one catch. The 5'9, 169-pound speedster had primarily been used as a return man in previous seasons.

After the hit, Patton's entire midsection was wrapped tightly, with his arm pressed against his body.

Florida next plays Missouri.
