Florida's only two seasons of undefeated play at home came in 1995 and 2009, seasons that ended in heartbreak. For Will Muschamp's resurgent Gators, 2012 can end with the same record and a minimum of heartbreak, as long as they don't drop a game to Jacksonville State on Senior Day.
Here's the game time for and how you can watch Florida vs. Jacksonville State, series history, and injury updates.
Game time, TV channel: 1 p.m. Eastern, pay-per-view.
Radio: GatorVision has the radio broadcast of the game for free.
Online streaming: Florida vs. Jacksonville State will be streamed on ESPN3, but is probably blacked out to much of the Eastern Time Zone, and, frankly, I don't know how well that'll work. Reminder: If you post links to illegal online feeds in the comments, you're getting banned.
Series history: Florida and Jacksonville State have never met.
Injury updates: Jeff Driskel's ankle injury will keep him out of this game, and force Jacoby Brissett to start. Andre Debose's "hyperextended knee" is likely to keep him sidelined, and De'Ante Saunders' "knee injury" should keep him out of this week's game. Xavier Nixon missed last week's game while recovering from a concussion, Cody Riggs has remained out because of a foot injury suffered long, long ago, and every other member of the Florida offensive line has some injury or another.
Chomping at Bits seems sort of silly on game days. As always: Talk about any and all of this and/or anything else you have to say in the comments. And let this serve as your College GameDay open thread, too.
