Boy, I hope that headline picks up some "Black Friday deal" traffic.
Florida's return to the court took all of one day after Thanksgiving, as the Gators welcome the UCF Knights to Gainesville for an in-state clash on Friday. Kenny Boynton, injured against Savannah State on Tuesday, is expected to play, and Casey Prather, who has missed all of Florida's game action this season, is likely to return after dealing with concussions for most of the month of November.
Astute Florida fans will remember that Central Florida's head coach, Donnie Jones, is a former Florida assistant, and will also remember that UCF took down the Gators in 2011 in a game played at the Amway Center in Orlando.
Florida would certainly like to dispose of UCF like your uncle takes care of leftovers, today, and having Patric Young replicate his performance from Tuesday (13 points, 11 rebounds, six blocks) would help in that respect.
Florida and UCF will tip at 4 p.m. Eastern, and the game will be broadcast on Sun Sports and FOX Sports South. The Gator Radio Network, as usual, is your best bet for listening to it.
