I don't know if the gloating came through as much as we probably were, but damn this game felt good. Sure, it felt dark in the 3rd quarter, but that 4th quarter. C'mon son! That was awesome. I think the main thing Andy and I seemed to take away was that EJ Manuel was point shaving (not really) and that UF's defense is a terrifying monster. The only two TDs (non garbage time) were on very short fields (the result of a fumble and a busted punt coverage) with the FGs being 50+ booming shots by Hopkins. All in all, there is a way to beat Florida's defense, but you have to execute a short passing game with incredible efficiency. The better way is to hope Florida hands the ball to you by terrible offense.
I reference something I heard on gator country where they said we'd be busting out trick plays for this game, and I responded that the real trick play we need is solid assignment blocking. Well, that trick play was busted out. Go figure.
In any case, this was the last game of the regular season, and I really didn't feel like complaining about much, and I figured doing that by myself would make a pretty dull show. This podcast ended up going for a while though, but I'm sure you guys will probably enjoy it somewhat.
