Yes, I picked this creepy picture of Casey Prather on purpose. - Jamie Squire
Florida takes on Marquette for the second time in eight months at the O'Dome tonight.
Florida ended Marquette's season and the Marquette careers of Darius Johnson-Odom and Jae Crowder in 2011-12 with a 68-58 win in the Sweet Sixteen. Johnson-Odom and Crowder combined to shoot 10-for-30 from the field on that night, while Bradley Beal had 21 points on 8-for-10 shooting, snatched six rebounds, dished four assists, and recorded two blocks and two steals.
None of those players will be on the court tonight when Florida takes on Marquette at the O'Connell Center at 9 p.m. Eastern.
Florida's going to have its hands full, though, with 290-pound Davante Gardner underneath. Marquette runs their offense through him (his 33.9 percent usage rate is seventh nationally) and he's a monster on the boards, second in the country in offensive rebound percentage. (No. 1, just as a by-the-by note: Thomas Walkup, a 6'4" guard at Stephen F. Austin.)
You can catch Florida vs. Marquette on ESPN2, and you can get all the radio listings at GatorZone.
