Florida Football Recruiting: Daniel McMillian Becomes Gators' Third Class of 2013 Commitment
Florida's National Signing Day didn't go quite as well as some hoped, but the Gators put together one of the top classes in the nation by any measure. And now, one day after Signing Day, Florida has secured a commitment from Daniel McMillian, as first tweeted by Rivals site Inside the Gators' Bryan Holt, running their count for Class of 2013 commitments to three.
McMillian, a junior at Jacksonville First Coast, is 6'3" and 220 pounds, and though few recruiting services have awarded all of their stars and begun their rankings for the Class of 2013, he's likely to be either a four-star or five-star prospect when all is said and done, and SB Nation's Bud Elliott calls him one of the top linebackers in the Class of 2013.
Gator Country has McMillian's highlights video, and also this charming notification of commitment:
"I committed to Florida today," McMillian said in a text message. "If you ain’t a Gator then you Gator bait lol."
McMillian joins Adam Lane and Caleb Brantley as Florida commitments for the Class of 2013. With three presumptive four-star or better prospects from the state of Florida already in hand, it's clear that Will Muschamp is interested in continuing to do work on the recruiting trail.
And with a commitment from First Coast, long seen as a pipeline for Florida State and Alabama, it's possible that Muschamp is working on opening up new pipelines for the Gators.

Really like this kid!
And the timing was great considering yesterday did not go quite as well as we had hoped for.
Apparently we are not done for the day yet....
Rumor is another is on the way. Possibly Reggie Davis???
The Twittersphere is stating that Reggie Davis is a Gator
and that another might be on the way???
Break out the scotch!
Just heard Davis didn’t commit, and that there will likely not be any more commitments today. But Hearns and McMillian are big pickups.
lol Oh well
Two’s not bad. And like you said they’re both big pickups.
If I die, I forgive you, if I recover, we shall see.
That's correct. They have not committed.......yet
Both Davis and Taj Williams really want to be Gators and they appear to be ready to commit once the staff gives the go ahead.
Seems likely that Muschamp wants to keep a steady momentum and not necessarily get everyone to commit in one day. Especially considering both are WR’s and we are still after one very big fish for the 2012 class.
1:50 mark
The Fridge (#56) gets blocked out of the play (as usual), but then on the runback takes out 2 guys with a blindside pancake block. We need that guy as our space-eating nosetackle.
In all kinds of weather...
Juwaun fannin
Thats all I found 6’ 3 355 lbs. Don’t know what year he is in or anything. On their roster he is number 55 not 56 so maybe he changed or something, but that has to be him he’s like the biggest kid on their roster
