How Billy Donovan became "Billy the Kid": For those of you (like me) who don't already know the story, I'll give you a preview: Billy wanted to transfer from Providence, but nobody (including Jim Calhoun) wanted him. Rick Pitino (who was the coach at Providence) proceeded to lie to him, telling him that a couple of schools were interested, and then made him lose roughly 30 pounds. After that, it was dress up time. (Hays Carlyon, The Florida Times-Union)

Early notes on Florida - Louisville: Both the Gators and Cardinals are peaking at the right time. Also within the link is the celebration video and the folks at ESPN breaking down the win over Marquette. (Adam Silverstein, Only Gators)

Casey Prather's alley-oop in GIF form: It looked awkward because of the twisting motion, but I'm pretty sure that's just because of the speed of the play. (Andy Hutchins, SB Nation)

Wide receivers a problem for 2012: This is a fantastic review of the wide receivers on the roster broken down by who was mentioned in Brent Pease's press conference the other day. There is just so much truth in this article it's sad. (Robbie Andreu, Robbie's Playbook/The Gainesville Sun)

SEC fans more excited about Texas A&M than Missouri: Duh. 69 percent to 31 percent. (Edward Aschoff, SEC Blog/ESPN)

As always: Talk about any and all of this and/or anything else you have to say in the comments. Need more Alligator Army in your life? Pizza poll: Think of this as like a bonus.
