I must preface this post by stating that I am a Seminole and a member of Tomahawk Nation; however, this is an issue that impacts both our universities. I am writing because we (as Floridians) need to contact Governor Rick Scott and ask him to sign HB 7129. For those of you that are not familiar with HB 7129, it is a piece of legislation that allows FSU and UF to increase their tuition to market rates. If you need to read the contents of HB 7129, I have included the link below. The governor's contact information is below.You may either e-mail or telephone his office - I recommend calling and selecting Option 2.
