Did Anthony Bennett drop Florida because of Bradley Beal? That's what Adam Zagoria suggests, in part, but I just can't believe that Florida would trust Bennett's recruitment to an NBA-bound freshman, and it's far more logical to believe that the second reason Zagoria gives — Bennett wants to be some team's go-to player — is the real reason he is no longer considering Florida. (Adam Zagoria, ZagsBlog / Kevin Brockway, Hoops Scoop | The Gainesville Sun / Adam Silverstein, Only Gators)
Charles Eric Waugh and Alex Anzalone: Waugh is a registered sex offender who tweeted incessantly at Ohio State players and got access to them. Anzalone is a big-time linebacker recruit who decommitted from Ohio State, in part because of Waugh's access, and will probably consider Florida. This entire story makes me feel like showering, but I'm both hard-pressed to see what sin of commission Ohio State is guilty of — can you background check every fan who comes to your spring game, much less run interference for your players with the lunatic fringe that tweets at recruits? — and incapable of blaming Anzalone and his family for being very much put off by having unwittingly been in close proximity to a sex offender. (Luke Zimmermann, Land-Grant Holy Land / Mike Drago, Reading Eagle / Statement from Ohio State)
Joakim Noah hurt in Bulls loss: And possibly done for the playoffs. But he re-entered the game after getting hurt, because that's Jo. (Tom Ziller, SB Nation)
Gene Deckerhoff, bad at math: Which is weird, because every Florida State fan I know seems to know that 21 is greater than seven and not a whole lot else. (Jamie DeVriend, The Beach Bucket | SB Nation Tampa Bay)
