Florida Football 100 For 100, No. 59: Don't Cross Matt Elam, Or Karma Will Get You

There are nine days until Florida's September 1 opener with Bowling Green. There are 59 entries left in the 100 For 100 series. The new plan is to get to five days and drop 10 posts a day in this series on those five. You're good with that, yeah?

Last year, Da'Rick Rogers taunted Florida's Matt Elam during the week of the Tennessee game (which led Elam to believe fake quotes were his), and, despite the Vols' loss, was quite good in it, catching five passes for 62 yards and a touchdownt. Last year, Florida State's Greg Reid mean-mugged up in Elam's face during FSU's win over the Gators in The Swamp.

As of this morning, Reid is no longer a Florida State player or student, and Rogers is suspended from Tennessee indefinitely in what seems like a possible step toward his dismissal.

Clearly, karma is on Matt Elam's side. Woe betide anyone else who tries him.
