Ladies and gentlemen, the Florida Gators finally have a quarterback.

Quarterback Jeff Driskel played nearly perfect football in leading the Gators to yet another come from behind victory last night against the Tennessee Volunteers. Driskel made no glaring mistakes, and completed 14 of 20 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns.

He also carried the ball eight times for 81 yards in the Gators' victory.

It was the game that Driskel supporters (and Gator fans in general) were hoping that he would have. Driskel's performance should put to rest any questions about his ability to quarterback the Gators this season and possibly beyond.

He's now 2-0 (remember, Bowling Green doesn't officially count) on the year, with victories over Texas A&M and Tennessee in back-to-back weeks.

Play No. 1: Driskel's 28-yard run

Driskel is going to take the ball, run to his right and get a great block from Hunter Joyer.

The block by Joyer allows Driskel to pick up nearly 20 more yards. The only thing wrong with this play was the offenesive line, which allowed the pressure that forced Driskel to scramble.

He also gets a great block from Frankie Hammond near the end of the play.

Play No. 3: Driskel's 32-yard pass to Trey Burton

Burton is just going to run a little wheel route down the sideline. Driskel is going to fake two handoffs in an attempt to draw in the linebackers and safeties. It is an attempt that works.

As Driskel performs the second fake handoff, you can see that it has indeed drawn the linebackers in. Burton, meanwhile, has just begun his route.

Great throw and catch.

Play No. 3: Driskel's 23-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Reed

Driskel is going to face some serious pressure while Reed runs to the corner of the endzone. He makes a great throw, getting the ball out despite two defenders in his face.

There is the pressure.

There is the catch. Does Reed get control of the ball and one foot down? Clearly.

Play No. 4: Driskel's 75-yard touchdown pass to Hammond

Hammond is just going to run a quick stop route. The timing on this play is perfect.

Driskel doesn't let the blitz bother him.

Hammond gets the ball in space. Lots of space. He's probably the only receiver on the team for this is true: If he gets the ball in space, the defense is in serious trouble.

When you really think about it, Driskel has gotten very far in only two starts (both on the road, mind you). Just think of the potential. I expect big things out of him against Kentucky next week. I'm sure you do as well.
