Florida Vs. Texas A&M: College GameDay Will Precede SEC Showdown

Florida's first trip to College Station to play at Texas A&M this coming Saturday will also be the Gators' latest turn as one of the teams featured on ESPN's venerable College GameDay show.

Florida leads all college football teams with 32 appearances on GameDay for regular season games, but hasn't made one since the 2009 SEC Championship Game. And this isn't going to be like most of those other appearances: Florida is likely to have its second-lowest ranking heading into a game featured on GameDay (the Gators were unranked before playing Georgia in 2002), and will likely face an unranked team for just the third time in 33 times on the show.

Florida's 21-11 in GameDay tilts, but just 7-5 when the Gators have to play the big game of the week on the road. On the bright side, the Gators are 14-6 against SEC foes when GameDay comes to the city of their game.
