Florida's showdown with LSU in The Swamp this coming Saturday will be a top-10 matchup — at least according to one poll. The Gators moved up to No. 10 in the Week 6 AP Top 25, and moved up to No. 11 in the USA TODAY Coaches' Poll.
The Gators hopped from No. 11 to No. 10 in the AP Poll, moving up as formerly unbeaten Stanford tumbled out of the top 10. It marks the first time Florida's been ranked in the top 10 of the AP Poll since Week 5 of 2010, when the Gators took the No. 7 ranking in the AP Poll into Alabama and were mashed out by a 31-6 count.
Florida moved up one spot in the Week 5 USA TODAY poll, too, moving up as Stanford fell, but the static nature of the poll — no alterations were made that didn't involve moving a team that did not lose up one spot until No. 17, where Oregon State sits after beating Arizona — means the Gators are not a consensus top-10 team.
Do you think No. 10 is fair? No. 11? Where would you have the Gators ranked?
