Tyler Murphy is "day-to-day" with a shoulder injury, and may be a game-time decision for Florida's Saturday clash against South Carolina, Florida offensive coordinator Brent Pease said Tuesday.
Gators OC Pease on whether QB Tyler Murphy will play: "I think it's day to day based on what the training room has to say."

Pease calls Tyler Murphy a "game time" decision. Says he needs to get at least some practice time this week. #Gators

This actually jibes with Murphy's own comments to the media on Monday:
Murphy (shoulder) asked what makes him confident he can play Saturday: "I'm not 100 percent sure. More of a day-to-day thing."

Murphy also told reporters that, were Florida's game against South Carolina yesterday, he would "most likely not" have been able to play.
If Murphy can't go against South Carolina, redshirt freshman Skyler Mornhinweg will start. Behind Mornhinweg on the depth chart? walk-on Christian Provancha.
And if Murphy is indeed out against South Carolina, he will become the one billionth 25th Florida player to miss snaps due to injury this year.
