The Florida Gators track and field teams head to Nebraska this weekend for the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational.

The Florida Gators track and field teams will be in Lincoln, Nebraska for the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational. Before arriving in Nebraska, the Gators men rose one spot to the No. 2 team in the country after their runner-up finish at the Razorback Invite last week, while the women's team remained at No. 7.

Florida was originally considering a split weekend of competition this Friday and Saturday, with some athletes headed to the New Balance Collegiate Invitational in New York City, but the school decided against it.

The action in Nebraska begins on Friday at 6:00 p.m. ET and continues Saturday at 1:00 p.m. ET. The Husker Invite is one of the best indoor meets in the country, though it isn't quite as big as last week's Razorback Invite. There will still plenty of big name teams and athletes in attendance though, as Auburn, Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas State are scheduled to make an appearance. On the women's side, defending Conference USA Champion, UCF, will be there trying to make good on this seasons promise to repeat.
