The Florida Gators track and field teams head to Nebraska this weekend for the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational.
The Florida Gators track and field teams will be in Lincoln, Nebraska for the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational. Before arriving in Nebraska, the Gators men rose one spot to the No. 2 team in the country after their runner-up finish at the Razorback Invite last week, while the women's team remained at No. 7.
Florida was originally considering a split weekend of competition this Friday and Saturday, with some athletes headed to the New Balance Collegiate Invitational in New York City, but the school decided against it.
The action in Nebraska begins on Friday at 6:00 p.m. ET and continues Saturday at 1:00 p.m. ET. The Husker Invite is one of the best indoor meets in the country, though it isn't quite as big as last week's Razorback Invite. There will still plenty of big name teams and athletes in attendance though, as Auburn, Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas State are scheduled to make an appearance. On the women's side, defending Conference USA Champion, UCF, will be there trying to make good on this seasons promise to repeat.

In action for the Gators on Friday (women): Ciarra Brewer and Lorraine Graham (long jump), Katrina Dekery, Graham and Ugonna Ndu (60 meter hurdles), Drashay Davis, Destinee Gause, Kyra Jefferson and Shayla Sanders (60 meter dash), Jayla Bostic (weight throw), Amani Bryant and Lanie Whittaker (400 meters), Ebony Eutsey, Bria Goodson and Sanders (200 meters).
In action on Saturday (men): Kyle Strawn and Luka Mustafic (shot put), Dendy (triple jump), Aird, Hall, Graham Jr. and Osorio (400 meter finals, if advanced), Dukes, Seymore and Toppin (200 meter finals, if advanced), Pitt (60 meter hurdles finals, if advanced), Lovett and Wright (60 meter dash finals, if advanced) and the 4x400 meter relay team of Dukes, Najee Glass, Graham Jr. and Seymore.
In action on Saturday (women): Bryant and Whittaker (400 meter finals, if advanced), Eutsey, Goodson and Sanders (200 meter finals, if advanced), Arlitha Mackey (shot put), Brewer and Gissell Warner (triple jump), Dekery, Graham and Ndu (60 meter hurdle finals, if advanced), Davis, Gause, Jefferson and Sanders (60 meter dash finals, if advanced), Taylor Burke (high jump), Bryant, Goodson, Ndu and Robin Reynolds (4x400 meter relay) and Eutsey, Gause, Jefferson and Whittaker (4x400 meter relay special).
On Saturday, when it comes to the final of certain events, please take note that if an athlete does not qualify for their respective final, they will be invited to compete in a consolation final.
