Chomping at Bits: Are the Gators the favorite to win a wide-open SEC Tournament ?

The SEC men's basketball tournament is thought to be wide open this year, with four or five teams having an equal chance (at best) at cutting down the nets in Nashville. Are the Gators the favorites? Also, a quick recap of the Gators' NFL Pro Day.

Wide-open SEC tournament: Do five teams really have a shot at winning the SEC men's tournament? The article lists Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky and Mississippi along with the Gators (and possibly Vanderbilt, because the tournament is being played in Nashville) with equal-ish shots at winning the tournament. Give me Florida and then if I had to pick another team, give me the Vols. (Associated Press, Fox News)

Previewing the tournament: Seems like the Vols are getting a lot of respect when it comes to this tournament. I also don't think that the Gators' road losses were flukes, but I hope I'm wrong. (Myron Medcalf, ESPN)

Who's in, out from the SEC as it stands: Florida and Missouri are in, we know that already. But some other teams need some help (read: wins). (Hays Carlyon, Florida Times-Union)

Billy Donovan looking for the fire: Champions or chokers. That is the question, right? (Hays Carlyon, Florida Times-Union)

Previewing the QBs and RBs: I think that the running back preview is more interesting, if only because we don't know for sure what that position is going to look like in the fall. As for quarterback, we pretty much already know. (Scott Carter, Fox Sports Florida)

Jelani Jenkins' pro day: His foot injury is behind him, but that didn't stop him from running a slightly below-average 40. But the linebacker position is much more than a 40 time, we all know that. (Michael DiRocco, Gator Nation/ESPN)

Pro day recap: Looking for a full recap of the Gators' pro day? Well, this is your spot. We'll have more coverage and a breakdown of each player as we lead up to the draft in the coming days. (Scott Carter, Carter's Corner/GatorZone)

NFL Network's Mike Mayock gives a quick take: Mayock gives his opinion on all the Gators who participated in the pro-day. It's well worth the read. (Scott Carter, Carter's Corner/GatorZone)
