Edited and thrown up on the front. — Andy
I was recently asked a question about the identity of our football team. What was presented to me made me think.
Florida's identity to me is built upon speed. Sure, we have strong guys out there but the whole power football brand Muschamp is doing on offense is not working for me. One of his comments he made about Pease was that he is grateful he put his ego aside. That tells me Pease wanted to open up the playbook while Muschamp wanted to dial it back and run it all day.
I like Muschamp, but I think him trying to be like his jedi master Saban wont work for our brand. Saban's a good coach, and his power football brand works for Alabama and that country-fed Dixie Boy state. When you think of Florida you think of orange juice and tons of speed. Let's open it up and let our boys get comfy with an all-out assualt. We're just not built for this.
Wat ya think, Gator Nation?
