Greetings from Mt Fuji!

In a thread a few days back I promised a cool picture for Alligator Army on Sunday. Sorry this is so late... I'm still recovering!

For those who don't know, I'm over here in Japan for a while. Part of my job is to ensure myself and my girls/guys are able to experience the culture and events here and to show the local Japanese the good side of Americans (especially American military members). Part of that is taking trips to places of cultural importance and respecting the local customs and traditions. So for our first trip out into Mainland Japan, what better cultural site is there than Mt Fuji, a World Heritage site? A group of 18 Seabees left our barracks at 0145, arrived at Mt Fuji around 0530, and began our hike from the fifth station (elevation 2305 meters) to the summit (elevation 3775). It took some of us less than 4 hours and some took closer to 7 hours but we made it - feeling slightly delirious. So without further ado (and with my 150 word minimum requirement met):
