Game 4: Kentucky vs. Florida Gators; The game before The Game

Kentucky's skill players, namely Randall Cobb and Derrick Locke, will probably run for enough yards to give you heartburn from your pre-game meal. The Gators defense has been fantastic this season, but they have not faced a singular talent like Cobb.

Florida Gators Gameday Notes

Poor John Brantley. He's not Tim Tebow or Danny Wuerffel, so game four means the pressure is on for him to blow apart Kentucky's defense today

Gameday Preview: Kentucky

Much has been made about the 23 consecutive wins Florida has in the Kentucky series. With Florida in rebuilding mode and the Wildcats featuring talented skill players, this might be UK's best chance for an upset in recent years. But, the Gators will have homefield and still have the better lines and secondary.

Watch out Gators, Kentucky is a trap!

Urban Meyer is a very good coach. But in between losing one game to our three most hated rivals and winning two National Championships since he started in 2005, Meyer has been caught in some trap games.

Mike Pouncey thinks Chris Rainey will be back

Mike Pouncey told reporters Wednesday afternoon that he thinks Chris Rainey will be back with the Gators at some point.

SEC Power Poll Week 3

While I missed the voting deadline, here is what would have been my SEC Power Poll ballot for week three.

Is the Gators defense that good, or is everyone else that bad?

Florida's defense is 8th in passing defense, 25th in rushing defense, and 16th in scoring defense. The defense also has 12 takeaways, which is tied with Ohio State and Troy for the most in the nation. But who have the Gators played?

Get that man the ball!

During Dan Mullen's time in Gainesville, the Gators were criticized for relying too much on Percy Harvin. But at least you knew Percy was getting the ball. Better than Steve Addazio seemingly using random personnel packages for the same running plays.

Florida Gators Sunday Notes

The Omarius Hines Bandwagon is picking up passengers after Hines' 36 yard run off a fake punt in the third quarter.

Game 3: Hines and the defense change the game; Florida wins 31-17

Tied 10-10 in the third quarter, Florida was faced with 4th and 6 with Tennessee holding the momentum. But instead of punting, Omarius Hines took a direct snap off the fake and rumbled 36 yards for a first down.
