Coach Fisher & Gene Deckerhoff host this week's call in show, fielding calls from FSU fans about last week's loss at North Carolina State.
Sorry for the missing Theater of Operations posts this week. I was involved in a car crash (I'm mostly fine, but the recovery time was a little longer than expected)... so I should be fully operational on Monday.
And of course I need a new car now. Sadness.
7. Florida: The Gators had a tricky opening month for a young team that's led by a sophomore QB (Jeff Driskel). Already Florida's had back-to-back road tests in very hostile territory -- at Texas A&M and then at Tennessee. Driskel has responded well, throwing just one INT while completing 70 percent of his passes.
Notes: Kentucky received $475,000 to come to Gainesville and play ...Trey Burton did not play after all 500 Kentucky football fans signed a petition banning him from playing against the Wildcats ... Attendance was 87,102. Only one Kentucky fan attended and he was camping outside the O'Connell Center for the Wildcats trip to Gainesville on March 9, 2013.
I didn't see this one coming this morning!
Apologies: Due to some technical difficulties (totally unrelated to SB Nation, kinda) Theater of Operations will be posted later today or tomorrow morning at the latest.
I would make fun of Kentucky ... but BBN does it to itself.
I think this cartoon, from Marc Murphy of The (Louisville) Courier-Journal, sums up Kentucky well. (Via Mark Ennis.)
