Baseball in The Swamp!

Demarcus Robinson catches six punts in a row...

...while holding the balls from the first five. I firmly believe this was the most important thing that happened today at practice, which I missed. Jesse Simonton has an excellent writeup over at Gator Clause.

eBay Gators Item of the Day: August 10, 2014

Sure, these "custom NikeID sneakers" that are "orange and blue with Florida imprinted on both" have "some fabric chipping on left tongue and also minor wear," but they're $30 shipped as of this posting, and that's not a bad deal for Nikes in Gators colors.

VH3's sisters tweet he's "ight"

Chanelle is Vernon Hargreaves's younger sister, and her tweet gets top billing here because she beat Carina, the elder Hargreaves sister, to tweeting the news ... by two seconds. (Bruh.)

What would be on your UF bucket list?

A friend of the blog needs some help coming up with graduation bucket list ideas. I'm sure we can help.

Florida's SEC Network animation package

You know how ESPNU's had those team-specific transitions to and from commercial for years? This is like that, but for the SEC Network. Do we like this?

Florida-Miami to open 2014 ESPN College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon

"No. 9 Florida hosts in-state rival Miami in a marathon-opening game at 7 p.m. on ESPNU." This is on Monday, November 17.

Gators fight each other

Remember the play where the 2 gators block each other? Just copying nature my friends.

Rehabbing UF fight song’s

I'm all for this. Would love for the school to update it's tradition here. Besides isn't it kind of the en vogue thing to do, bring back the past with a twist. And this is an excellent twist.

Not Gators related, but wanted to give my Seabees at NMCB 4 a shout out!

As many of you know, I'm a Naval officer with NMCB 4. We are a construction battalion located in southern California and we've recently completed our Field Training Exercise. Its a rigorous 2+ weeks but at the end of the exercise, we are certified ready to deploy. Since this was released in the local newspaper, I thought I'd share. Beware: I am actually pictured in the article. If you scroll to the bottom on the left side of the page, you'll see a caption with a broken picture link. If you click where the picture should be, it'll take you to a picture of me with a glorious mustache taking bridge assessment measurements. Also, please take a moment (or many, many more) today to remember that freedom isn't free. The old saying is true: all gave some, some gave all. Monday is a day to remember those brave heroes who gave all. God bless each and every one of you, brothers and sisters in arms who gave all. This Naval officer will be taking a long moment to remember and thank you tomorrow.
