Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Vanderbilt junior wide receiver Earl Bennett announced Thursday that he will forego his senior season and declare for April's NFL Draft.
Bennett accumulated 236 receptions in three seasons for the Commodores, the highest total in SEC history. He is the only receiver in SEC history to catch at least 75 passes in three separate seasons.
This past season, Bennett caught 75 passes for 850 yards and five touchdowns, highlighted by a spectacular 13 catch, 223-yard, three touchdown performance in the Commodore's season-opening 41-17 win over Richmond.
