It is Selection Sunday and don't let Florida's bubbleness get you down. Because this also means the 3rd Annual Alligator Army Tournament Pick'em!

On Thursday, Florida was in the tournament.

Florida had four chances to win one game and clinch an NCAA bid, but were 0-4 in those games, finishing with tonight's 75-69 loss to Mississippi State in the SEC Quarterfinals.

Florida has benefited from a weak bubble this season as teams like Memphis, Seton Hall and USF fell early enough in their conference tournaments to knock themselves out.

Fighting off a stout Auburn offense, the Gators moved into the SEC Quarterfinals with a 78-69 win over the Tigers.

The best player on the Gators is not their leading scorer or their second leading scorer. It's not their senior or their center.

Florida's up-and-down season is back down again with a three game losing streak to finish the season.

In 2010, the top four teams in the SEC East (Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Florida) finished 24-0 against the SEC West. The gap is so wide that no SEC West teams are favored to advance to the Conference Semifinals or reach the NCAA Tournament.
