Now that Texas is being paid by the minnows of the Big 12 to remain in the conference, it appears as if the expansion excitement will die down for a while.

Watching the Big 12 slowly die is part awesome (since college football is at its best in chaos) but part unreal (the Big 12 started as the Big 8, which was founded in 1907).
Time for the SEC to attack
Monday's report by a Kansas City radio station of the Big Ten expanding with the additions of Missouri, Nebraska and Notre Dame are likely rumor.
