One of the things I have had a hard time reconciling with in the past few week is what to think of Urban Meyer's legacy.

Urban Meyer's final game as a Gators coach was not perfect, but the Gators had more talent and made more plays in defeating Penn State 37-24 in the Outback Bowl.

ESPN has talked to two sources that say Charlie Weis, the former Notre Dame coach and current Kansas City Chiefs coordinator, will be the offensive coordinator under Will Muschamp at Florida.

While Steve Spurrier, Billy Donovan and Urban Meyer get the credit, the steady hand of Jeremy Foley never gets enough credit for Florida's success.

My reaction to Florida's hiring of Will Muschamp was surprise, then realization that this is exactly the type of hire Jeremy Foley would make.

Muschamp's career has pretty much connected him to every major SEC program; spent part of his childhood in Gainesville, played at Georgia, coached at Auburn and LSU.

Will Muschamp will be named the next coach of the Florida Gators.

Make the necessary Coldplay joke, but this video is still awesome. Or maybe I think it is awesome because it reminds me of my last football season as a student and Urban's first season as head coach.
