Jemalle Cornelius, who has become a key factor in the Gators offense this season, has done enough to earn a high praise from Head Coach Urban Meyer. Cornelius has earned the title of team captain from the head coach:
Urban Meyer identified him in September as the team's MVP and later as the team's true captain. "Jemalle Cornelius," the coach said Monday. "He's my boy."
...
Sunday, Meyer referred to the other game captains as "hood ornaments." "The first game he told me I was speaking," Cornelius said. "The second game he told me, and the third game he told me. So I figured something was going on."

High praise for a great player. He is really an all-around talent on the Gators offense, and I fully expect to see him contribute a lot more this season.
