Drew Weatherford will start at quarterback over Xavier Lee for Florida State in the annual intrastate rivalry against Florida on Saturday.
Lee is better coming off the bench than Weatherford, Seminoles coach Bobby Bowden said Monday.
Better coming off the bench? I guess he has no hope in Weatherford? Or does Bowden plan on using some sort of 2 QB system?
Anyways, in FSU games I have seen this season, Lee has been a much better quarterback. I think he should have played more against WF despite the two picks, and think he gives the Noles a better shot to win. With that in mind, I don't mind seeing Weatherford starting.
